California Winter Camp Options!
Contact us if you have any questions or want to check on availability for your youth group. We offer a few different "standard" options, but we can also customize your trip to best fit your budget and vision by adding or subtracting days and camping.
For adventurous groups doing trips after mid March, we can even talk about finishing it off with a day of Class III white water rafting or even rock climbing. And no, you won't be the first one to have asked (or done) that.
Snowpack is usually best from December through Mid March, through sometimes we can do trips into April depending on weather conditions.
Ideal group size is 10-30 people.
Night Hike Weekend Warriors - Great for when kids are in school.
- $186/person includes 2 nights, 5 meals, snowshoes, and our amazing staff.
- Arrive 6 PM Friday (eat a good dinner before you arrive), Depart 3 PM Sunday
- We will be hiking in at night (snow is very reflective and it's an easy trail). But if weather conditions are bad (or your arrival is too late) we will stay at a local camp and hit the trail head in the morning.
Two Night Weekend Winter Camp - If you can get the kids out of school early on Friday.
- $194/person includes 2 nights, 5 meals, snowshoes, and our amazing staff.
- Arrive Friday 1-2 PM (eat a good lunch before you arrive) and Depart 3 PM on Sunday.
- This will probably require the kids getting out of school early, but allows us to hike in during the day time.

FAQ's.
- Participants will need to bring backpacking style backpacks to carry all their gear in on their backs.
- Have chains and/or 4 wheel drive for all vehicles you are brining up, even if the weather is clear.
- The cabin is fully furnished (more so than we'd like), but has a Dryer & Hot Showers available for emergencies. Cell phones also get reception, so be sure to remind kids to leave them at home (we'll have at least one on had for emergencies).
- Extra details (like maps, what to bring, release forms) will be sent to you.
